Van Mahotsav Celebration at NSAMPU Mangaluru. To make students aware of the importance of the trees and taking initiative towards it, Eco club in charge Mrs. Nalini Shetty Lecturer in biology organized ' Van Mahotsav' Programme on 14th July 2017 in college premises. Ms. Rashmitha Lecturer in Chemistry gave a speech in which she threw light on the importance of trees in our lives. She further Said that trees keep our nature green and clean by giving us pure oxygen. also she told the importance of Tulasi and Banyan tree in giving us pure oxygen. Ms. Shamitha, student from II PUC science also gave a speech on importance of trees. Programme followed by the planting of Hibiscus plant and other shrubs in container by Principal Mr. S.N Bhat and other Eco Club Members. The students, Principal Mr. S.N Bhat along with Teaching and non Teaching staff were present on this occasion.
